General overview
Cent account is a trading account designed for beginner traders and those who prefer to trade with smaller amounts while accessing a wide range of instruments. This account operates with a balance displayed in cents (1 USD = 100 cents), allowing you to trade with real market conditions at a fraction of the usual cost.
Cent account is intended for traders who want to develop their skills, test strategies, or trade with minimal financial risk while still experiencing real market execution.
Hedging system on Cent account
Cent account operates using a hedging system. Hedging means you can open multiple positions in the same instrument, including positions in opposite directions, and each position is tracked independently.
When you open multiple positions in the same instrument:
Each position is displayed separately with its own open price, volume, and P&L
You can close positions individually at any time
Opposite positions (buy and sell) exist simultaneously without offsetting each other
This approach gives you full flexibility in managing trades and allows you to implement complex strategies such as partial closing or averaging.
Hedging is applied automatically on Cent accounts. Netting is not available for this account type.
