How to verify your Weltrade account (KYC)

Learn how to complete Weltrade account verification (KYC) step by step. This guide explains why verification is required and how to successfully confirm your identity in your Personal Area. Managed by Weltrade SA (PTY) Ltd.

Identity verification (KYC) is a mandatory process that confirms your identity and protects your Weltrade account. Clients must complete KYC verification before opening trading accounts, making deposits, or accessing promotions and partner programs.


How identity verification works?

Identity verification confirms that you are the rightful account holder. The process is completed online through Weltrade’s secure verification partner.

Prerequisites and limitations:

  • Available only for clients from the your country

  • You must be logged in to your Personal Area


Instructions

During registration (creating Weltrade profile), you enter and verify your email address. You receive a confirmation email with activation link.

After clicking button Confirm in this email, you will be redirected to your newly-created Weltrade profile, where you can complete verification process.

Follow these steps to complete identity verification:

1. Log in to your Personal Area.

2. Click Account in the bottom right corner and go to Settings → Verification (in mobile app).

Or click arrow down in top right corner - Settings - Verification (for web version).

Verify your phone number in Verification - Mobile number - Manage. Once you do that, status will change to Verified/Completed as shown on the screenshot below.

Note: without verifying mobile number, your verification won't be completed.

3. On the same Verification page, find Identity Verification (KYC) and click Manage.

4. A new page will open. Click Continue or select the option to continue verification process on your phone.

In total, identity verification (KYC) consists of 5 steps.

1) Upload your ID

You will see an instruction on how to take photos of your documents and upload them.

2) In the next screen, you will be asked to confirm if you are a PEP (politically exposed person) or no. Tick the box and click Submit.

3) The next step is filling out a questionarrie.

4) Step 4 is a liveness selfie. Follow on-screen instructions and move position your head as requested.

5) Once your pass all the previous steps successfully, you will get to step 5 - Address verification.

Tip: Make sure your photos are clear, well-lit, and show all document details.
