Sometimes our Customer Support team may ask for a screen recording to better understand an issue. Below are simple steps for different devices to help you capture your screen.
Steps may vary depending on your device version and software updates.
Mac

1. Open QuickTime Player (Applications or Spotlight search).
2. Go to File → New Screen Recording.
3. Click the arrow next to the record button to choose microphone and mouse click options if needed.
4. Press the Record button to begin.
5. Select the screen area or record the entire screen, then press Start Recording.
6. To stop, click the Stop button in the menu bar.
7. Save your recording via File → Save.
Using Screenshot Toolbar (macOS Mojave+)
1. Press Command + Shift + 5.
2. Select your recording type (full screen or selected area).
3. Click Options to adjust settings such as microphone.
4. Click the Record button.
5. Stop recording from the menu bar or press Command + Shift + 5 again and select Stop.
6. The file will appear in the corner of your screen — save or share it as needed.

1. Search Snipping Tool in the Start menu.
2. Click the Record icon, then choose New.
3. Select the area to record.
4. Click Start (recording begins after a countdown).
5. Click Stop to finish.
6. Save or share the file (usually saved in Videos).

1. Swipe down twice from the top of your screen.
2. Tap Screen record (if missing, add it via Edit in Quick Settings).
3. Select recording options (sound, touch display).
4. Tap Start.
5. Swipe down and tap Stop to finish.
iPhone / iPad

1. Go to Settings → Control Center.
2. Add Screen Recording if not already included.
3. Open Control Center (swipe down from top-right).
4. Tap the Record button.
5. To include audio, long-press the record button and enable Microphone.
6. Tap the red bar or record icon again to stop.
7. Recording saves automatically to Photos.
